Immunization or vaccination is a way of creating immunity to certain diseases, by using small amounts of a killed or weakened microorganism that causes the particular disease. They take a portion of the germ or disease in order to create a vaccine. That’s what we are given when we get all these different shots! Vaccines stimulate the immune system to react as if there was a real infection. It fends off the infection and it remembers it quickly if it ever enters your body.

As you read this vaccines are being produced that can neutralize the affects of smoking, snorting, and other dangerous behavior. But watch out, There are no SHOTS FOR SIN!

But just imagine, a shot that can protect you from sin. Imagine you could just go to the doctor, present your HMO card and the doctors give you a shot for SIN.

It could be:
• A Pornographic shot
• A Homosexuality shot
• A Drug Addiction shot

Now you might say, well I have no problem with those, but they’ll even have shots for the “little: sins:
• An Envy shot
• A Lying shot
• A Cheating shot

WELL GET READY TO GET YOURS!

Can you imagine going to the doctor, rolling up your sleeves and receiving a shot; now you have complete and permanent immunity to pride, greed, envy, to anger, lust, gluttony, to lying, fornication, adultery, deceitfulness, internet porn shot, stubbornness, an injection against sin. But there’s more to sin control than a shot! We shouldn’t forget freewill, free choice, the power to choose. God does not control our will, nor does a vaccine maintain it. The problem seems to be, we we should love God with all our heart, but we end up pulling away from the God whom we say we love. This began in the garden or Eden. We just can’t seem to deny the forbidden fruit. Can a simple shot cure us….I wouldn’t bet on it!

THREE THINGS YOU HAVE TO DO:

1.YOU HAVE TO LOVE JESUS – Verse 23 says, “if anyone loves me… it says “if, that means you have a choice! YOU HAVE THE CHOICE to love Him or not! Deuteronomy 6:5 say “and must the Lord your God, with all you heart, all your strength, with all your soul? Not just love, but love with all of your being. You know how you can tell someone you love him or her, and know you’re lying (not that kind of love). We have to love Jesus more than we love ourselves; more than our spouses, more than our children, our jobs, WE HAVE TO LOVE HIM! Jesus makes an important link between love and the decision to do right. “If you love me, you’ll keep my commandments?. This is a requirement for discipleship, you have to LOVE, and you have to OBEY!

2.YOU HAVE TO OBEY HIS WORD – “if you love me, you will obey my teachings?! Well just think about when you were dating. They tell you to jump, you say “how high?” And that’s the problem, we want to obey everything, and everybody but the Lord; then we wonder why things are not lining up the way we want them…well DID GOD TELL YOU TO DO WHAT YOU’RE DOING! Or was it your flesh? We simply can’t say we love Jesus and then do what we please. Jesus doesn’t force us to love Him, but we must understand if we decide to love the world, we have to face the consequences. God is saying, “If you want no part of me, I don’t want a part of you?! Aren’t you like that with people? So He gives us a choice. WHAT WILL YOURS BE?

3.YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT – if we listen to the Holy Spirit, we will exercise freewill, and make better decisions. But usually when the Holy Spirit speaks, we got Jay-Z, the Booty Shaker (Beyonce), pumping in our ear. And the Holy Spirit is screaming saying “CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!? The Holy Spirit has so much competition. You have some of everything in your ear! We listen to everything, except the Holy Spirit. Well we as Christians, if we love Jesus, why do we ignore the Holy Spirit? Now you are about to lose your mind, because you are trying to work it out. God has a plan for our life. And when we decide to interfere, we are altering all the blessings God has planned for us. When we make the choice to use the Holy Spirit, that’s the best choice we can make. When you accept the Holy Spirit, your body is no longer yours; so every time you do something to it, THAT’S NOT RIGHT, you are defiling the temple of God!

Satan does not want you to listen to God, that’s why he’s always causing interference, always creating distractions. That is why you have to FIGHT TO BE RIGHT! You will fight for what you love! Well if we love Jesus, we should fight that enemy when he tries to steal our relationship. We’ll fight for our prayer life, fight to have a loving spirit, fight to show love…WE WOULD FIGHT! Everybody would know you’ve been with Jesus. ARE YOU A CLOSET CHRISTIAN? Remember, God sees everything you do! Stop giving in to sin, when will you make up your mind. “I can’t help myself?; YOU ARE A LIAR!
Jesus said I’m leaving, but I’m not going to leave you alone, “I’m going to send back, the COMFORTER?!

BUT IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO LOVE HIM, NOT TO OBEY HIM, OR NOT TO LISTEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT:

1. You will experience an unhealthy lifestyle!
“For what does it profit a man, to gain the world, but lose his soul? (Matthew 16:26)! All of your decisions will be based on what you feel, so therefore your decision will lead to a freaky lifestyle!

2. You will not see Jesus!
Hebrew 12:14, “says make every effort to live in peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man will see the Lord!? If you don’t accept Jesus, if you don’t love the Lord, holiness will not be in your vocabulary. You have to make a choice to be holy!

3. You will experience eternal death!
Romans 6:23 “say that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life!? YOU HAVE A CHIOCE! You want death or you want life. I WANT THE GIFT. It’s free, you don’t have to get beat to know someone loves you; you don’t have to get hazed, and drink a gallon of liquor, all Jesus wants you to do is accept Him. WILL YOU ACCEPT HIM?

God loves us so much; we’re the only creatures He gave freewill. So we need to stop making choices that please everyone but God. He keeps blessing us, that why David said, “I will bless the Lord at all times?! When are we going to start making choices that line up with the Word of God! “CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE,
But as for me and mine house, we will serve the Lord!? (Joshua 24:15) For I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread! We have to take a stand.

There is no sin vaccination; there is no quick shot for sin. See, most of us want God to make us serve Him. But then it wouldn’t be sincere. WE WANT A SHOT! There is only one sin vaccination, and that’s to MAKE UP YOUR MIND, starting with your heart and giving your life to Jesus; He already took the shot for your sin when He died on the cross, He is all you need.
